Linking Products, Units of Measure, and Crops - Agvance SKY Mapping

Link Crops, Products, and Units of Measure from Agvance Windows to Agvance SKY Mapping.

This setup is required if sending a Rec to a Plan.

Products

Agvance SKY Mapping Products can be linked to Products in the Hub.

Once Products are linked, Recs can be sent from Agvance SKY Mapping directly to a Plan in Agvance Windows.

Note: Products must be linked from Agvance Windows as this is not available in Agvance SKY Mapping.

1. Navigate to the Product to link in Agvance Windows and choose Edit.
2. Double-click in the <Agvance SKY Mapping Product Name> field on the Mapping Recs tab, then choose an Agvance SKY Mapping generic Product.
   
   • If the Product is linked to an Agrian ID and the Agrian ID matches the one in Agvance SKY Mapping, the Product will automatically link.
     Note: Double-click in the <Agvance SKY Mapping Product Name> field to choose a different Product if needed.
   • If there is not an Agrian ID set up on the Product, choose the Agvance SKY Mapping Product to link to the Product.
3. Highlight the Product in the <Agvance SKY Mapping Product Name> field and use the Delete key on the keyboard to delete a linked Product.

Note: It is recommended to link Products in the master Location so if Product Sync Rules are set up, the information will be available in other Locations. Ensure Line 67 on the Setup Product Synchronization Rules window found at Hub / Setup has both Sync on Add and Sync on Edit checked.

Units of Measure

Note: The Support team typically handles unit linking as a one-time process.

1. In the Hub, navigate to Setup / Company Preferences.
2. On the API tab, go to the Mapping Interface tab, then choose Link Units of Measure.
   
3. Agvance Units of Measure (UOM column) are mapped to Agvance SKY Units of Measure.
   

Crops

1. In the Hub, edit a Crop at Setup / Crop Maintenance.
2. Select Agvance SKY Mapping Crops.
   
3. In this example, the Agvance Windows Crop Corn Silage was mapped to the Agvance SKY Mapping Crop Corn with a Purpose of Silage.
